Who said the 2008 VP Debate wasn't for kids?

It's funny to see how the kids have been very interested in this whole 2008 presidential & vice presidential election. I believe their interest has been sparked by classroom discussion as well as a mock vote that will be held in the future at their school.

What is also funny about this is that the kids are taking it very seriously. They are following up on the latest news and asking questions. Also, on this night of the vice presidential debate, they decided to each make personal scoresheets to evaluate the candidates. When asked what criteria they were basing their scores, they answered the following:

1. "How well they talked..."
2. "How good they answered the question..."
3. "If they sounded okay or not..."

So...the results of Noelle's scoresheet was: Palin=9 and Biden=3

Hope's scoresheet had somewhat of the same results: Palin= 9 and Biden=5 (although she was a little more gracious to Mr. Biden)

Luke, on the other hand, could have cared less about what was on TV. He just wanted to stuff his mouth with popcorn : )
