Happy Birthday Uncle Rob!!!

We got to celebrate Uncle Rob's birthday this weekend! We all enjoyed a Korean "bibimbop" dinner and a fabulous chocolate cake with cream cheese icing that Mama Burkey brought over...YUM! Uncle Rob got alot of birthday cards & presents from the family...even one from Sandy (mama & papa's dog). It had a special milkbone inside it..."Love, From Sandy."

We thought it would be fun to spend some family time together and play the card game UNO.Believe it or not, in previous games, Luke has had an unbelievable winning streak that had even continued through the 1st round of the night...

But the second round was won by Noelle, which may have proved that Luke's winning streak was just "beginner's luck"... Unfortunately, Luke took the defeat pretty hard...

Actually, he took it REALLY, REALLY hard...

Even daddy couldn't uplift his defeated spirit...

Thankfully, all was restored when cake was served! I guess the "way to a little boy's heart is through his stomach" : )
