Luke is loving these Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies from Trader Joe's. It tastes a little like shortbread cookies with a cinnamon twist. They are "mom approved" and are one of cookie monster's (aka dad's) favorites!Besides the great taste and cute shapes, it's been a great way to get Luke motivated to read. It's cute to see how excited he gets when he correctly sounds out the word. It's like a "lightbulb" that goes off in his head when the formed letters make sense. And the reward is very sweet! (I should just nickname Luke--> cookie monster jr.)
I also love leaving edible notes for the kids to find and then snack on. Their faces are priceless!
