Science Night

The girls enjoyed Science Night at their school last night. Here are some of the seminars they attended... Star Legends & Lore in the Planetarium. Inside the dome, the night sky was projected. Stories were told of many of the constellations and the legends in different cultures.

Zoo friends: an introduction to the basic care and facts about zoo animals. There was a "hands on" demonstration of a boa constrictor and a hedgehog that each of the kids got to touch.

Hope got an opportunity to make a living "Mr. Potato Head" in the greenhouse at school. They started with a potato as the head and stuffed seeds inside a mesh pouch=panty hose to later water and watch the hair grow! Too fun!!!
