The English ministry of Grace Pres*byterian Church bid farewell this past Sunday to the Ko#rean Pres^byterian Church. For 13 years, GPC was "under KPC's wings" and now that the Lord has prepared our church to reach out to a different community, we will soon be "flying" as we merge with another church.
In order to show our appreciate to KPC for all that they have done for us, we prepared a Korean bibimbop meal for 400 of their congregational members. Yes...it was no easy task, but God somehow provided for everything. And I mean provided beautifully!
Here you see the "ingredients" for preparing this meal...
10 large pizzas to get us jump-started...
aprons (to match in this case) and get dirty for the job...
master chefs in the kitchen with grand scale cooking pots and bowls...
60 pounds of extra lean ground beef (by the 10 lb tubes)...I LOVE Sa#m's Club!!!
50 lbs of carrots to peel and shred...
another 50 lbs of bean sprouts to boil and season...
20 adult laborers to add to the mix...
and several child laborers who added some fun...
Equals= many yummy bibimbop bowls
Here was the "assembly line" for the bowl preparation...
"It's so pretty!" stated one KPC member as she picked up her bowl from the table...
And you can't forget the dessert=cake!!!
Thanks to our wonderful clean-up crew...
And last but not least, thank you God!
