Noelle's Birthday celebration

Instead of a birthday party this year, we decided to have a girls' day out to celebrate Noelle's 9th birthday.

So this past Saturday morning, the girls and I ventured to a tea room for some breakfast...
For their drink selection, Noelle & Hope indulged in some hot cocoa with a little "Irish" sprinkle on top...
Then they decided on some Dutch oven baby pancakes with fruit on top...
The tea room servers surprised Noelle with a spiced carrot muffin and a "happy birthday" serenade...
After stuffing our bellies, we then headed to a photo shoot at Se*ars Por#trait Studio.

Here are some of the cute pictures that were taken...

The girls couldn't wait for their last surprise...their 1st professional manicure!

When we arrived there, they were both stumped with the many choices of nail polish colors...
After much thought, here are the colors the girls decided on...
"Mom...this feels sooooo good on my hands!"
Their finished products...
Wow...those are some nice nail art design (gotta luv the added "bling" from the green gems : )
